About US
Born in South Africa during the tumultuous years of Apartheid, I spent my early childhood on a farm in the former Western Transvaal, now known as the Northwest Province. This upbringing instilled in me a deep appreciation for the outdoors and wildlife. At six, my family moved to Pretoria, where I embraced school life and discovered my passion for wrestling and rugby.
Through sport, I forged lifelong friendships and explored the diverse landscapes and cultures of South Africa, from the bushveld to the stunning coasts of KwaZulu Natal and the Cape Winelands. My international travel journey began in 1993 when I proudly joined the National Wrestling Team, allowing me to travel across Africa and beyond for 14 incredible years. These experiences deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity and ignited my passion for sharing my own heritage with others. Each destination enriched my understanding of the world and the people in it.
Since moving to the United States and becoming a citizen, I've dedicated my life to sharing my passion for travel, sports, and diverse cultures with my athletes, friends, and family. In 2008, I launched a wrestling Cultural Exchange Program with a friend in Germany, and over the past 16 years, we've fostered incredible connections through bi-annual exchanges. Now, I'm excited to expand this initiative to share my favorite destinations with small groups of 8-12 people outside my immediate circle that include family trips, friends vacations, sports tours, and solo travel.
